Early Childhood Development Chart- My Child at 36 Months

Your toddler is three years old already! Watching your little one grow through toddlerhood is an exciting and rewarding experience. At three, your child is extremely active and expressive and loves playing with others. Their abilities continue to grow every single day! While every child reaches developmental milestones at different rates, it’s still important for parents or guardians to stay observant of their growth and development.

To help you understand your little one’s development, doctors use certain age-specific child development charts and milestones. These are sets of functional tasks that tell if your child is gaining skills as expected. There is a wide range of what is considered “normal” development. Therefore, some children may gain skills earlier or later than other children. Many aspects of your child’s life, such as the way they learn, speak, and play, can also offer you clues about their development.

As the CDC reinforces, when you have concerns about your child’s development, ACT EARLY! The earlier you can identify developmental issues, the sooner your child can receive intervention services. These services can make a true difference in their and your family’s lives!

Right Start Children’s Services serves as an early intervention resource and support. We are fully committed to aiding your family through education, assistance, and a range of early intervention services. Our services help your child develop new skills that make their daily life easier to navigate. We customize our approach to each child’s needs to ensure they receive the best care. Services we offer include Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, Special Instruction, and Behavioral Support.

To help you keep track of the skills your little one should have by age three, we created this free, downloadable 36-month child development chart!
